It is a day to celebrate love, a day of flowers, a day of chocolates, a day for dating couples. Well, i used to hate valentines day. Chinese new year is my 1st hatred. Valentines day comes next.

Why do i hate valentines day so much? I hate it because people around me have people to celebrate with and i will get so emotional during this day when i wanted so much to have a bf beside me, to enjoy this joyous occasion. But till date, it never happens. Come to think about it, I've only celebrated 1 valentines day but it wasn't official because we weren't together.

However, this year was different. Not that i was looking forward to this day, but i'm not feeling how i would feel usually. I had a wonderful time on friday, though i was really tired after the projects. It was a simple catch up session with xiaoli and yingying. It feels good to confess how i feel towards my friends around me who has a bf/gf. Walking around west coast park, having our usual talk about the past. Though we saw couples everywhere, i think i handled it so much better as compared to the past.

On the actual day, i was in town giving out flowers to the ladies and taking photos of couples after couples. After a while, cindiie & i got so tired... and felt that we are being so superficial. Our smiles lost its meaning after sometime. Haha...Not that we weren't happy for the couples, but hey, its quite tiring to smile for the whole 2-3hrs. Had dinner with a few others after work and we went for dessert in bugis. wah... the desset is good! Will definately return for more..

So, my valentines day this year weren't bad after all. Town wasn't as packed as i expected. I din feel as emo as i expected. So ya...it turn out quite well. Perhaps feeling a little emo at 7 in the morning due to an sms, but i know he meant well... haha....
